I just want to thank you for sharing the Earth Sanctuary with me. I learned so much from you (as well as myself during my retreat) and the tour you gave me! It was a wonderful experience! I will forever be saying “Om Mani Padme Hum” and I found out the meaning of it while at the retreat house! Its beautiful; “Om…the jewel in the lotus…Hum” the jewel being love and compassion and the lotus being the wisdom of ultimate reality”!! I learned about meditation in sacred spaces and my experiences were magical!! I have been inspired to create my own beautiful sacred space! You taught me that and for that I will forever be grateful!! Thank you.

Dear Chuck,

I just wanted to thank you again for the amazing gift that you’ve created in Earth Sanctuary. Every step I took, breathing in, breathing out, feeling the breeze on my face and marveling at the sun peeking out from behind the tree was a message from our Mother reminding me of why we are here and encouraging me to embrace the path I’m on. Being able to sit in contemplative silence at focal points that called to mind other times in other places allowed my mind to slow and live in the very moment. My husband, a proud agnostic engineer, was so impressed that, in all the spiritual space, you still took time and effort to connect with the naturalists and humanists that visit the sanctuary and very much appreciated the naturalist walking tour guide.

I had heard of the Earth Sanctuary from friends, but I had no idea where in the Pacific Northwest you actually were. Imagine our delight in finding you as we drove back to the ferry after a day at Deception Pass State Park. Sometimes serendipity really plays a huge role in throwing BIG LIFE SIGNS in our path. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Namaste,
Lisa Sanger Blinn
Houston, Texas (for now)
