Healing Energy

Sunday, April 22nd, 2007

I love the combination of sacred space and nature reserve, two things that are always intertwined for me.  I appreciate the tremendous amount of hard work and love that has gone into and continues to flow into this space.

Recharged my being

Monday, April 16th, 2007

I liked the peacefulness, animals and energy.  We felt safe and at peace with everything around.  Every time I see a tree planted, it makes me smile.  I smiled throughout my whole journey here.  There is such a variety of spiritual places…I will return some day.

Being a full time employee, business owner and single mother of 4 children, 2 cats and 1 dog, you can image how intense my life can be.  I do my best saying focused and connected with the great spirits, Father Sky and Mother Earth.  It was time I take a Real break through.  I feel very honored to have come across Earth Sanctuary.  Here I released the stagnant energy around me and recharged my being. Prayer, meditation, and connecting with a wonderful place has helped me.  I can already feel when I step back into the world I will have more focus, determination and the energy to complete my dreams and goals of opening the North Snohomish County Food Co-op and building a dwelling that is completely self sufficient with solar and wind power, rain water collection and of course wonderful trees, plants and vegetation.

Thank you Earth Sanctuary! Earth Sanctuary Retreat House Guest.

Hummingbird

Saturday, April 7th, 2007

I was sitting and praying inside the Dolmen and heard the sound of Hummingbird wings behind me.  I listened as it hovered just behind my back and then the sound of the wings humming subsided.  I turned slowly and watched it take flight.  It flew out, once around the Dolmen and away.  The next morning I went back to the Dolmen with my friend and did some toning and singing inside.  Again the Hummingbird flew inside and around us, then back out.  A few minutes later we resumed singing and the Hummingbird returned!  She landed ins8ide on the ground so very close to us and pecked at the ground.  We watched quietly and she regarded us wisely and calmly.  After a  few moments she flew out around the Dolmen once and away.

Thank you so much for creating and maintaining this very beautiful and unique place!
