The Osprey of Earth Sanctuary
Near the center of the Earth Sanctuary property is a tall conifer with a six-foot wide Osprey nest on top. The Ospreys migrate every year, arriving in April and leaving in October. From April to July, we close off the Wetland Trail under the Osprey nest until the fledglings can fly and leave the nest.
